Brothers, families, and friends gathered to honor the birthday of the Marquis de Lafayette with period fare, remarks on his life, and a toast to liberty.

On September 6, 2026 — the birthday of Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette — The Lafayette Lodge Project held its first annual Lafayette Day.
Brothers, families, and friends came together for a festive afternoon in the spirit of his era: period dress, a table of food and drink, remarks on Lafayette’s life and Masonic character, and a toast to liberty and brotherhood. History of our namesake played nearby while the company shared a meal.
It was a warm first gathering for the project, and a tradition we intend to keep each year on this day.
